What is included in the price?
The venue price includes 6 hours of reception time in the Hangtime, 5-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2-8pm on Sundays. In addition to both pavilions, their amenities, and the beautiful gardens, you will have access to the property all day for set up, as well as the 6-hour window when your guests will be on site. Also included in the fee is parking for your guests, 2 bar staff for the event, use of our picnic and/or high top tables if desired, and a photo session in our vineyard overlooking Cayuga Lake
Do you have minimums?
There is no bar minimum for weddings with over 75 guests.
Do you offer special promotions?

Is there an extra ceremony fee?
For ceremonies of 75-100 people, there is no fee for a ceremony at the winery. For ceremonies in our vineyard overlooking Cayuga Lake, there is an additional fee, dependent on group size and time of year.
Is the dance floor included?
No, the dance floor is not included. Treleaven has a wooden dance floor available for rental.
Where can I have my ceremony?
Say your vows surrounded by vineyard and Cayuga Lake views in the Treleaven Vineyard.
What kind of tables and chairs do you provide for the ceremony and reception?
Treleaven wants your special day to be a custom fit! We have a list of vendors that can help you find the perfect look for your reception.
How much time do I have for my event?
You and your vendors will have access to the property starting at 10am for set up. A total of six hours of event time is included in your reception venue fee. Additional time can be added, but must be finalized in writing before the event. All events must conclude by 11pm.
How late can my reception go?
All events must conclude by 11pm.
What kind of deposits are required to reserve the date we want?
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total wedding contract is required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the wedding. A credit card pre-authorization form must be completed 30 days prior to the event. This card will be charged at the conclusion of the event for all wine and beverage charges, as well as any damage or cleaning charges.
Can I pay for my event over time?
Yes, the 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date. The other 50% is due 30 days prior to the wedding, and may be paid month-by-month or in one lump sum. The wine and beverage charges, as well as any damage or cleaning charges, must be paid immediately at the conclusion of the event.
Can I bring in my own catering?
Yes, Treleaven knows your special day won’t be complete without the perfect cake and dinner! There are many delicious caterers and restaurants in the area to choose from. Caterers are responsible for being self-contained and cleaning up at the conclusion of the event, and providing Treleaven with a copy of their liability insurance.
Can I serve hard alcohol at my wedding?
No, Treleaven does not have a hard liquor license. Treleaven has over 20 wines to choose from—dry, sweet, red and white! We recommend choosing 4-8 wines to be served during the reception. Additionally, Treleaven has a selection of both local craft and domestic beers on tap and can work with you to serve your favorite beer or cider. Wine slushies are also available, made from Treleaven wine and Red Jacket fruit juices.
Can I have a cash bar?
Yes, we can arrange for a cash bar, an open bar, or a combination of the two. Open bars are charged by consumption. Treleaven wine served at weddings has a 15% discount.
Can I have a live band?
Absolutely! Bands and DJs make your reception a party! We have a 20×30 foot band pavilion where they can set up. All bands and DJs are subject to a maximum of 80dB and must be done by 11pm.
Do I have to use the vendors on your list?
No, but we have worked closely with all of them and they have earned the ultimate compliment…our referral! If you choose to bring your own vendors they must provide Treleaven with a copy of their liability insurance.
Do I need to provide a wedding coordinator?
A wedding planner or coordinator can help make your special day run smoothly, but it is not required. We have a list of vendors that can help you get started planning.
Do you have a place for me to get ready on my wedding day?
Yes! We have beautifully decorated and furnished bridal suite in the upstairs room of The Hangtime. It has everything you need from couches, to hooks to hang up your gown and tux! The room is included in the wedding package.
Can I take my engagement photos at the winery?
Absolutely! We invite all of our booked couples to capture the beauty of Treleaven and surrounding vineyards in their photos.
Will the winery be open during my wedding?
Yes, the tasting room will be open and will have a small overlap. The Hangtime venue and parking is separated from the tasting room and public parking to ensure a private event.
Where can my guests park?
Treleaven has ample parking, provided free of charge with the venue fee. However, we recommend providing transport for your guests to and from the venue so everyone can enjoy the party safely.
